In a stroke of irony, we finally unloaded the car the day we submitted an ad to the trading post. We ended up following a tried and true rule of dating (to continue the analogy): if you lower your standards enough, things will happen for you. That being said, we went for half of our original asking price. Sure, we could have held out for more, setting up appointments with flaky backpackers who stand us up or perhaps living in the carpark dungeon for a while, but we opted for "bird in hand" logic on this one.

Soulds like my tried and true method of "prime-the-pump" dating - dates beget more dates. Of course, this does entail a lowering of standards so that the high-priced mates will see you as desirable.

I am holed up in the Student Learning Center (that behemith that took the place of what was once a parking lot by the tate center) on my frist reading day.

Andrew and I love the postcard (it is displayed very prominently on our fridge...though sadly there are no baby pictures of you and JJGG to go with it!)).
Should you two decide to visit the fair city of Boston upon your stateside return, we will keep the futon fluffed and warmed in anticipation of your arrival.

After the successful sale of Queeda, methinks you could take on a position at the Terry College teaching "How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying...Too Hard". Hope you took your "earnings" for use in the celebration at Sydney's pubs. Have my new postcard displayed proudly on the Kitchenaid Gallery - right along side pix from the debauchery in Brooklyn where daughter and her Moot Court teammates did the town. Thanks much!!!
