Testing my resolve

The blog post is a difficult thing for me these days, mainly because I tend to go so long between posts. When I finally do write something, I feel the need to be incredibly profound, and at this I almost always fail; thus, the cycle continues, and longer amounts of time lapse between posts.

I've been thinking about my New Year's resolutions, and, knowing what I do about the behavioral sciences, have decided to set realistic goals this year. The important thing about setting goals is that you have an implementation plan, so I think I'm all set. So here are my resolutions:

1) Start wearing sunscreen every day, so I don't end up aged before my time (I'm a little late to that party).
2) Send birthday cards to friends to let them know I still care about them, even though I'm typically lousy at keeping in touch.
3) Get married.

If anyone is still reading this blog (and, based on the site meter reports, a few are), please send a comment my way with a reminder about your birthday! I would appreciate it very much!

I should have added 'post to the blog more' as one of my resolutions, but hopefully I'll get to that explanation soon. Stay posted!
